#1 is definitely awesome. I assume that's red lights and not the actual color? Or is it? Either way awesome place. Reminds me of Luray.

Yeah, those are lights. If you use a flash it overwhelms the color in the lights. you can use a tripod and flash in Carlsbad, but I didn't know that so I handheld everything.

Nice work, Bruce. First and last for me. Tripod is good there, but also a problem with narrow paths and lots of people moving by.

Perfect light and vivid colours. You didn't lose any details in the shadows. If I had to choose only one photo I would pick the last one.

Appreciate it---was quite a challenge in the conditions. I used the railing for a tripod and self timer to trip the shutter.
