Well, after a few months, my collection did grow a little, I did sendup getting the shorter walk-around macro and replaced the 14L with the zeiss 15 and TSE-17, also added a 24-70 for family gatherings and holidays when I want to just take one lens

the 200 f2 still on the Wishlist and more light gear :)

Nice bag thread. Or is it just a brag thread, unsure?

Wow! I've never left the house with more than two lenses. What a load.

You are in desperate need of a shorter macro lens. If I had such a meager collection of lenses, I would be in the market for a 50, 70 (Sigma) or 100 mm Canon macro for a walk in the park/gardens, or copy work, etc.

How do you like your macro rail? Does it get much use?

10 lenses is meager?!

"Anything missing?".....I suspect that a Z21/2.8 could add a little something to the party.

Yeah, I will admit I have been looking at that exact lens on eBay for a few weeks now, I am falling in love with the Zeiss MF range now :)

I never tough I'd go away from Canon L glass, but the Zeiss have surprised me

If you don't mind me asking, what do you typically shoot? The reason I ask is because I'm about to make the same switch to primes and was wondering what your thoughts were on the whole thing.

I'm looking to get rid of my 24-70 II and purchase a 50L and 135L, and for me, it's because zooms take away some of the fun of photography for me. I love photography because it's my creative outlet, and using a zoom for me inhibits that creativity to some degree.

Funny enough, I actually added the 24-70 II to my lineup, my real passion is landscape and cityscape photography, my favourite lens is my 35L, but I found that for gatherings of people (family, etc) the 24-70 II is actually a great lens, when you worried about capturing the memory instead of a great shot, so I would not get rid of it.

But I do find it does make you a little 'lazy' so when I go out to try to get some cool shots, I pick one or two of my primes, if I had to have only two lenses it would be the 35L and the 135L

I got the 85L for when I am doing some portraits, but in honesty, I could get almost the same look with the 135L by taking a few steps back, of course indoors thats not always possible.

The TSE-17 I am loving when I go out in the city and shoot some buildings, the ability to correct the buildings perspective is just awesome

The Zeiss 15mm I just started to use, my goal for it is to do wide landscape with filters, we will see how it pans out, I could just use the TSE-17 for it, as there is a new Lee adaptor for it, but the output of the Zeiss is quite nice, and I just wanted to try both.

The macros are currently not very used, simply for lack of time, but when I do find the time, I'll be ready

The 100-400 is my least used lens, I'm not really info bird/wildlife photography, but a while back I did go do some photos of an airport, and the 400mm range proved to be the ticket.

My Helios 44M-6 .. just for fun :)

TBH, I have days when I think I should just sell it all and get a Leica + 50mm and live with that combo by itself, then I slap myself and get back to reality ;)
