At the risk of sounding like I am bragging. I do belong to the Thousanaires club.

That's why I can afford this on my living room wall. Along with a giant wooden spoon & fork on each side.

lol, we have this in our basement before . priceless.

the giant spoon and fork are must haves, i remember most of the houses of my relatives have these. not sure if these was because of a belief or tradition

The giant spoon and fork we have that too in our province plus the different types of bolos from Mindanao that are put together formed like a badge.

I think for us from abroad. When we visit our relatives back home. We bring pasalubong and in return they think of ways to return the favour. In my case, we've been away for so long that I think they really don't know what to give us. So they think of neutral gifts. I think this is one of those "safe" gifts. For me I think it's a sign of Pilipino pride. I remember one time, we were given a set made of Kapiz. I had to hand carry it.

beautiful! you are so lucky. the female anna's dominated my feeder this winter, pretty much driving 2 more females and 1 male away.

agree! if you guys watch eat bulaga's foreignoy or foreignoy, sometimes the guys or gals say stuff that are cheesy, or corny, or they make sipsip so they will win. but a lot of the things they say are true. i honestly believe that in the right circumstances, the pinoys have the biggest heart in the world .

hotels not 5 Star is about $75/nt. Boat tour is$15-$20/person or $50-$75/boat/day; entrance is $5/site or $20/day/person; food is about $30-$50/person/day. Personal tour guide is $12/day/group.
5 star resorts- 2 season runs from $700- $1300/nt; Club Paradise is $300-$600/nt.
Plane fare PAL from Manila is max $250 round trip. Reantal s for snorkel, mask, fins, etc...dont know since I brought my own gears.
