The 60D has been such a great camera for me,but as everyone that doesn't own a full frame,we all upgrade someday. Someday is next week for me. I'll be purchasing a 6D. Thought about the 5DIII for a while, but the extra cost is not worth what you get vs the cost of the 6D. I do have one last shoot to do next week before I switch over. But,here is some recent stuff I've shot with my 60D.

+1

As much as I have enjoyed Whoty's work with the 60D I am excited at the prospect of comparing it to his future 6D captures.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I'll still have my 60 a a backup, but won't be doing much paid work with it. But,you all will see me around from time to time.

I know right. Same here. It truly is the photographer and not the camera, but when you make a living from it,the quality is in the full frame sensors. Only reason it's taken me soooo long to go full frame is because I wanted to dedicate myself to learning every aspect of lighting first. Yet,even though there's still some things to learn,I'm comfortable enough to make that switch now.

I don't visit these forums so much as I used to, but here's a couple of northern lights photos from tonight. There is exceptional activity over much of the united kingdom.

Bulb mode, iso 400, f2.8, held shutter for around four minutes (at a guess). Taken in the outer hebrides of Scotland.

This is the first time I have ever seen them and I have been living here in the north of Scotland for 15 years. So glad I got photos of it, these are the only two I got.

I'll never see stars like that either. I live in the DC metro area and city lights obscure the view.

Hi all!

This is maybe only the second or third time I've ever posted on this site, but I "lurk" all the time. I think it's time I get a little more involved...

Edit: It's the sixth time I've posted. :P

LOVING my 60D! We are finally settled in the new house, so now I can really spend some time with it. :)
