The northern lights in the hebrides of scotland

I don't visit these forums so much as I used to, but here's a couple of northern lights photos from tonight. There is exceptional activity over much of the united kingdom.

Bulb mode, iso 400, f2.8, held shutter for around four minutes (at a guess). Taken in the outer hebrides of Scotland.

Thanks, they were taken from our front garden. We are in the country so very little light pollution here, although when I took these, the street light was on. This was relatively faint, the other photos I saw on the bbc were fantastic.

The chances of me seeing them in the South are likely to be almost zero but when there is an alert, I always look anyway lol.
