hotels not 5 Star is about $75/nt. Boat tour is$15-$20/person or $50-$75/boat/day; entrance is $5/site or $20/day/person; food is about $30-$50/person/day. Personal tour guide is $12/day/group.
5 star resorts- 2 season runs from $700- $1300/nt; Club Paradise is $300-$600/nt.
Plane fare PAL from Manila is max $250 round trip. Reantal s for snorkel, mask, fins, etc...dont know since I brought my own gears.

thanks mr tony, i think a budget of $200/day/person is reasonable, something i can definitely plan on.maybe a 1 day rent of diving gears is enough for us.my wife doesnt swin but me and my 3 kids are decent swimmers. we usually go to pinas every 4 years, and this year the lolos and lolas are expecting their apos but we are skipping this year, money is tight. but we might go next year .

I feel you Jo, we go home every 4 years also even though I work with an airline we get really good discount with our partners but it is on stand by basis it is better to buy tickets then deal with the hassle. Going home with the kids on stand by is hard but if only me or my wife going home stand by is good. But for domestic we don't mind doing stand by. We are planning on going home next year, I hope magkasabay tayo para we can go birding together he he.

peter, the only time we can go home is after school, and here in canada, that's after june. the 2 times we went home, it was always during the month of august, which was very maulan na. but i think it will be good, if we decide to go to palawan because its no longer tourist season. what month kayo uuwi?

We are also planning after the school sometimes in June next year.

although my vacation is winding down, I have been attending parties evrynight, on Wednesday was the 49th Anvil awards and my daughter got 3 tables for 30 of her staff and us, her company won 8 Anvils, the most number won by an agency, here are a few shots I took:
