Two YN 560-II's (main units)
Four Vivitar 285's modified for variable output
420 EX (almost never touch it; even with fresh batts it's kinda slow)
Then my pile of random crap includes an old Yashica CS-221, a Minolta Auto 32 and a couple of Vivitar units of yore, model numbers forgotten at the moment and not retrievable because they're packed away. My favorite unit in the random pile is a Minolta 320X, but it is out of commission because one of the cats decided that out of all the things in my office there were to knock over, he chose the DIY beauty dish and 320X on monopod I had leaning in a corner, to destroy. Little s**t.

One of the 285's is disassembled for surgery on some part, can't remember what right now and it, too, is packed away. I use the 285's for the non-critical light temp stuff like SPFX and gels, or something that I know is going to end up B&W, although in a pinch I can deal with CC in post if necessary.

I've recently started thinking about the YN 560-III's; although the Cactus thing looks pretty interesting, I do tend to try to keep brand continuity with systems such as this, as I have the 603C's. I also have three Cybersync units, but I use those for the Viv's and the studio strobes that won't acknowledge the 603C's.

At this time, though, my needs aren't that critical (read: I'm not shooting a lot at the moment due to other life crap and my recent penchant for building custom furniture), so there's no huge pressure to acquire stuff.

I have four flashes for my studio: YN-560 III. Use them with two 30" octaboxes and umbrellas depending on the shoot I have. Also have DYI beauty dish and snoots for shaping the light.

Considering getting a mono lights soon as need more flash power.

Five total:
2 - 580EXII
1 - 580EX
1 - 550EX
1 - 430EX
(also 1 ST-E2 transmitter and 3 CP-3 battery packs)

The beauty of the Canon system is all the EX speedlites I have are still compatible for wireless E-TTl lighting. (The only issue is you need a 500 series to act as a master since the 400 series in wireless mode can only be slaves). They just don't seem to die as long as you don't abuse them. I don't know how many times I've fired my 550 over the years but it still keeps going strong. I considered converting to the newest radio 600 series speedlites, but for the work I do the optical series works just fine. However if I did a lot of outdoor multi-wireless flash work I'd possible reconsider.
