Thank you Mark, indeed getting up the gazillion of stairs, with my heavy backpack and tripod wasn't the funniest part for sure

First time I've managed to get out shooting this year! Set off on my bike this morning, set-up my first shot, drop in the 10 stop filter... then in rolls the rain. Wet, covered in mud and a soggy cycle home, great fun though!

Single exposure // 4 minutes // touch of shift only // 0.9 hard GND // big stopper

Had the first time really using that lens since owning (got it last monday). Its a hard lens to master but i train using it while handholding. Got a lot shots OOF but when i hit the focus, damn thats a sharp lens!

Do the majority of you focus with live view or listen for the beep while manually focusing. I do the later.

Live view 99.9% of the time due to my limited number of focus points on the 5D2. Very rarely do they coincide with the spot I actually want to set focus on (hyperfocal distance)

Live view here too, i don't know why but i can't hear that beeping sound when i focus manually.

It's taking patience but I am learning to go live vs the green dot. Much more accurate

Interesting. I expected most people to focus and wait for the beep!
