My friend who lives in Paris right now would like to set up a simple photo blog. She's not a computer person, so it has to be a simple easy to work solution. What are the favorites? I'd suggest wordpress since I use it on some sites. Blogger and blogspot also come to mind, but I have not used those.

She takes great street photography and probably would like to share one or two photos a day, more or less. She does so on facebook right now, but is tired of people's comments that are offended by this or that funny thing she saw in Paris. But she wants more than just flikr etc. add a bit of text to a photo here and there, etc.

What would you suggest?

Thanks!

Tumblr is good and easy for a simple photo blog. One caveat - only 10 photos are supported in each blog post.

Another vote for Wordpress. There are so many good themes available and many of them now act as a framework, with a host of built in customisation options that make it really easy to get the design you want. I just recently did a redesign on my site www.danmarchant.com (external link), going from a dark theme to a custom light theme and it probably took an hour and a half, including testing.

Yup, I'd recommend Tumblr for someone that is not a computer person.
