Strange. What happened when you clicked the "what's this" button?

Suppose it was because it went through New Jersey?

It means someone (probably the recipient) asked UPS to investigate, probably because they thought the package was late. Investigate = find out where the package is and why it was delayed. Doesn't mean the package was opened. (Doesn't mean it wasn't opened, either.)

Judging by the routing, it does mean that it was delayed a bit as it went back to Vernon from Van Nuys.

Man, UPS is so slow and expensive.

Could ship that for $10 via USPS Priority.

USPS is just as bad and they won't guarantee priority at all(call them up and ask).
Could take the regular 1-3 days or it could take 3 months, they really don't give a ...

Well, UPS sucks!!! I ordered something to be delivered to my job, the address was correct, and the delivery man just returned it. I waited for a month until I found out about his mistake. Also, their tracking system is the worst!
