My first attempt with photoshop with the help of tutorial on youtube.

Not bad. Cool bird. Can you pull some of the blue out so the feathers are whiter? Just a thought.

the problem with the duck is it's white feathers can easily get blown if sunrays falls on
them so if you underexpose the shot it comes out too dark. one solution is to shoot
when sunrays are not too harsh that way post processing would be straight forward.

Nittaya, I'm aware of the concept of underexposing so that the whites are blown out. I thought the photo was grossy underexposed to begin with. I liked the edits that you made. What does "straight forward post processing" mean? Thanks.

Q-man, good call on the blue feathers. I guess I was thinking that they had a shadowy appearance as if the sung was rising. Thanks
