Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD

Rented this lens to see how it would do for sports.

I used it for 2 women's/men's double header games and I think the AF is definitely fast enough for sports.

I've been playing with this lens for a couple of days now and I'm really quite happy with the image quality and the VC so far. The zoom ring rotating a different way is still something I need to get used to, but no biggie. The things I'm not too crazy about just yet, is the AF speed and sometimes it misses focus where I know I could have nailed it with one of my other lenses. Now I haven't done any serious focus testing, but it might just need some MA.
