Recently I have set myself a goal to visit every listed waterfall in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho [Pacific Northwest]. I know that this will take me many, many years to complete since it is strictly a hobby but I thought it would be really fun to do and record along the way.

I thought it would be a really neat idea to share with the rest of the POTN community my personal waterfall collection.

In this thread I will continue to update and maintain the list of waterfalls that I have been to and photographed. Please let me know if a thread like this is against the rules.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Nothing like an impossible mission to keep one fired up and active. No harm in trying, unless it keeps you up at night. I love waterfalls, and I've been to some of those you have shown. Based on my experience and personal taste, you have some gorgeous shots. In particular, Sol duc is very impressive, since my effort was wasted due to a rising sun that beat me there. I've chased waterfalls all my life and all over the country, guess I will eventually die on the trail to one.

Exactly. What good is a life goal if it's easily obtainable?

Great idea for a goal. I love waterfalls as well. I thought of doing the same thing for PA. But my mobility now will not allow it. Keep posting as you progress. Look forward to seeing many more.
