I don't know a lot about lacrosse but it strikes me to be a little similar to hurling in that you'd have to be (almost) certifiably insane to want to play a game where people are swinging large sticks around with what almost appears to be reckless abandon or murderous intent.

That aside, these are wonderful photographs. Well done. I imagine they will be useful as forensic evidence :)

In my experience the women's game is actually fairly civilized. The men on the other hand use their sticks against their opponents but have full helmets and more pads.

Nice pictures. Great action.
