1st go at brenizer method.

Very first attempt at this sort of thing, had a go with a static object in a super market car park! Wanted to go for a deep colourful grungy feel to it.

Was shot with a nikon 85mm 1.4G, about 17 frames. Thoughts?

The effect is nicely done. The reflections on the guitar surface take away from a great shot though.

I thought that, unfortunately it was a shiny black guitar. You could also see me in the reflection, so I managed to get rid of me, but wasn't sure how to get rid of the shiny look. If anyone can fix it or let me know how to, I'd like to see / know. Thank you.

get a polarising filter, turn it until the reflections just go away.

Agree with gonzogolf, effect well done.

Not so sure about bang centre but I still like it.

Seriously though, I somewhat understand the concept, but for the picture in one of the corners are you focusing on the guitar and then re-composing and taking a shot that doesn't even have the guitar in it?

Yep, for Brenizer you lock in focus on main subject and set everything else to manual including white balance so exposure remains the same and just take multiple shots around subject and photo merge in PS. Sometimes it can take 50-100 photos

Haha, not my guitar chaps. I play Taylor acoustics - when I did play electric I used a PRS and messaboogie amp

For that pic, set a WB, shoot in manual so shutter stays the same, wide open at 1.4, I took the 1st pic, made sure it's sharp and exposed well, then knock you focus to manual and don't touch it (or disengage your auto focus from you shutter button) - then take about 20 odd shots moving methodically round the frame. Merge and crop in Photoshop.
