Looking to upgrade from a Hero 2.

Mar 06, 2014 09:17 | #19 Thanks for the tip. After much deliberation, I think I am going to order from B&H and get the free 32G card with it. A few bucks more than the above deal and adding a card, but I have 100% confidence in B&H as I buy from them regularly. My last GoPro was a Hero2 w/ wifi back pack and it was a nightmare of a camera. Sent back to GoPro multiple times and it never did work right. I am hoping I have better luck this time around with a Hero 3+.

Is this correct? Why in the world would I have to give my credit card info prior to finding out if they will accept my offer?

Because if the offer is accepted, then it automatically becomes a buy transaction. I was skeptical at first. But I rolled with it. I put in my offer, less than 2 hours later I got an email saying it was accepted, and about an hour after that I got a shipment notice with tracking number. Honestly it was pretty slick. I can see me using Greentoe again.

And then if they do not accept your offer? 10 different emails trying to get you to counter while they have all of your info to include credit card info? Seems to me if they did not request the credit card info that they would get a lot more people interested in using their service. Maybe just me, but how would everyone feel if the sellers on here asked for credit card info before trying to make a deal. I would really like to put in a offer but just for some reason I can not get myself to see why they need it in advance. Have you do the priceline before? Same thing man.
