I am not sure what to make of it since the dollar amount here is only $25. I have an international buyer bought my item on Ebay and requested me to ship oversea, even when I didn't offer international shipping. Are there tracking available shipping items oversea using first class mail? I bought a lot of items from China and the shipping is cheap and they have tracking too. It seems like it is too much troubles for that amount of money.

What country?

BTW, if you don't want to ship internationally, you need to set your blocks accordingly.

This happened to me a number of times. You can set it up when you create the auction to block bidders from non-CONUS locations.

I would cancel the transaction and then relist or offer a second chance offer. To me its not worth the headache to ship overseas for a $25 item, but it's up to you.

The country is fine. Is not like I am sending it out to Iran. :)

You asked if First Class tracking is available. Pretty hard to answer that without knowing the country. Feel free to look on the USPS site for the list.

Good luck. BTW, if you cancel, they can neg you, even if they agree to the cancellation.

I sell lots overseas. As for tracking on first class international, no, there isn't any. You would have to go Int'l Priority to get tracking. Even then, the destination country may not track, so your tracking is only good until customs. After that, you may never know if it made it or not.

Personally, I would ship it, as long as the address you're shipping to is a paypal verified address. I would send it 1st class, and self-insure.

I am just worrying that the buyer would claim the item never arrived since tracking info isn't available. And I won't get my funds. Yes, the silly Ebay/Paypal is still holding my funds for any amounts. I have over 90 positive feedbacks my account has been active for the past 90 days.

A buyer from Malaysia claimed that against me, opened a case over a month ago (case closed due to time) and eBay is apparently still looking into siding in my favor. It was a headache. From the sheer time it took to communicate with the buyer and USPS, I would have rather sold it half price here in the states - and I'm a penny pincher.
Part of the issue I found is that USPS tracking didn't register past Miami, the package's int'l exit destination. So there was no way to know if the lens did arrive. I suppose someone could scam that way. And I've wondered if the buyer is trying to scam me.
