Three trees watching the sun go down

I went not too far away from home yesterday to try something different when it comes to sunset. So far I had rather wide pictures with no real foreground and was in altitude, looking down. I wanted to change that so I stayed in the valley and tried to look for interesting elements to put in the picture.

The first one is great! But the focus is not on the trees and it's kind of annoying for the eyes (:

Beautiful countryside! I prefer the crisp clean lines in #2. The trees - the main subject - appear out of focus in #1.

i love the last one. the skyline is amazing. very dynamic n stunning

I'll have to go back to try again. Love the perspective of the first one but it's true that the trees being out of focus is a little annoying.
Just so you know, #1 and #3 are composed of two pictures (one exposition for the sky and another one for the foreground). #2 is only one exposure.
