Is there any good books out there on studio posing and lighting techniques that you guys would recommend?

Light Science and Magic by Fil Hunter and Paul Fuqua

What type of posing, portraits, glamour?? U can get posing guides that have stick figures that u can show your model what pose to strike

Cheers I knew there would be a "bible" type book just didnt know which one, Im not doing glamour, its just learning the basics of portraits at the moment.

I would recommend anything by Niel van Niekerk, check his site out neilvn.com/tangents

Google Brett Florens, his now the Nikon ambassador, but he was the canon one as well. He has a book, unfortunately his courses are here in South Africa but he has a UK base as well, dont know if does courses there too. His fairly popular as he does the wonderbra shoots as well.

I know you said books. But youtube is also a great source, and you get to see it happen as well as have it explained.
