Nice models, but I feel like there is too much going on that is distracting. The skin looks a little blown out and the background is pretty busy. Her hand is blown out and it kinda directed my eye to his ass.... which I preferred that it did not, especially since it's kinda pressed against the rock. :-/ I think this pose at a much wider angle which showed the waterfall would have worked. Here, I think a shallower DOF would have been better. The rock background would have been nicer maybe if there wasn't the greenish algae/moss on it....especially since the tone of the picture is pretty warm, it looks like a puke-green. 6/10 for me.

Love the whole concept of the shot and great capture of the reflection in the dark area of the glass. 9/10

Wonderfully done B&W. The contrast from near to far is spot on, love it. 9/10

^^^^ 6/10 ***edit*** not sure where the portrait of the guy went that I rated.

It's a decent enough snapshot, but it's a bit underexposed and the composition is lacking. His expression isn't very inviting either. Good DOF and good focus though.

Saw this in another thread, and I cannot fault it. Expression/interaction is perfect; toys and shoe placement is great and I love the symmetry of the background (10/10)

Playing around with B&W with a recent portrait shoot.

8/10. Like the B&W conversion, composition, and it's definitely an interesting shot.

^^ 8/10
I like the processing on this. It has a bit of muted fashion look, I like it. Still a bit underexposed on him. Would definitely like to see more light or an exposure boost. As with the other photo, I like the DOF and the focus seems to be right on! Much better expression here, more inviting and more engaging. Nice shot.

Quick shot before warm-ups.

Technically good, nice exposure, DOF etc, just a bit boring for me, sorry... also would be better without the other person in the background...

6/10

Nice idea... But I'd think it would be so much better with more emotion in the eyes... Clever editing though.. 6/10

I like the colors here and both the subjects match, good dof control because they are both in focus. 8/10

Nice expression, the 'rear' eye appears to be out of focus? 7/10

Dk why, but I really like this image -- I'm assuming it's two separate shots one overlaying the other?

The long exposure of the ferris wheel frames the tree well, and I like how the colors seep through the branches.

Very abstract and good use of dead space 9.5/10

Thanks. Actually it's one exposure. Took a few attempts to get the exposure right as I wanted it to light the trees as well.

I like a lot of dead space, doesn't necessarily seem to be a popular opinion though.

Wow, good to know that it was only a single exposure. I thing the dead space really pulls me in, and really takes into account the framing. Great shot.
