It's similar to Lightroom, but IMO a little easier to use. The NR and sharpening tools aren't as good as LR. It comes with several presets, the HDR ones can give some nice results. I have both this program and LR5.

This was done in PD4, HDR artistic preset.

Nice but I think the noise is excessive. The feature that got me interested is content aware removal tool. I have downloaded but haven't had time to test it yet. I hope it's good enough but if it isn't, I can't complain because it's free.

I just tried PhotoDirector. The content removal tool isn't that bad at all. Definitely easier to use than Photoshop. Yeah it does have LR look and feel.

That's part of the effect, in this case it's supposed to make it look like an oil painting. Compared to LR, the NR tool isn't as good.
