Beautiful photos mate, just wondering why you went for 2.8? I'm looking at these on my phone and they do look good but woundnt the dof limit them?

F/2.8 as they were shot at night in the dark so I was trying to get as much light in as possible at the same time as keeping the shutter speed short enough not to trail the stars. The moon was bright though so not many stars seen. At f/2.8 and 14mm the DOF is so wide anyway that the entire scene is in focus

Don't I feel stupid-just checked the dof for 2.8 at 14mm....infinity lol

Great picture Nic!
