I am venturing into HDR photo I took this one in my back yard. please let me know what you think, what I can work on or any general tips you may have.

As this image does not have a high dynamic range, your not going to see a whole lot of difference except for maybe a little more detail in the tree shadows.
Look for a scene with a higher dynamic range,- maybe portions of nearly blown sky and deeper shadows as well as evenly lit areas.
