I don't have any pictures to post as I don't have this camera but, I have a question for any of you that do own this camera. I hope this falls under the "discuss" section of this thread.
Landscape/nature photography is a hobby for me.
I use the Canon 40D, thinking about getting a MarkII.
I realize one is a crop body and the other is full frame.
What i'm wondering is, if I had the 40D set up on a tripod, get my composition of a landscape scene, take the picture, then replace the 40D with the MarkII (same lens used on both cameras) and take a picture of the same composed scene, would I get better image quality from the MarkII and if so, would it be a really noticeable difference?
I don't get big prints made of any of my pictures at this point.
The lens in this case would be the Canon 17-40.
Hopefully some of you have had both of these cameras and can speak from experience.

Not asking if the camera would make me a better photographer but, just wondering if I would see a big difference in the quality of the images due to the camera being used.

I have and use my 7D and my 5DII with the 17-40L. I have a hard time telling the difference in IQ...but from a 40D to a 5DII...I would think you would, I noticed IQ improvement from my 50D to the 7D....you will also get a wider view with the 5DII and the 17-40L.

I just restarted photography two years ago with a 40D, then 60D and now the 5DMark II and yes I see a difference and well worth making the move.
