Great deal. Looks like they are increasing credit of camera trade in program from $300 to $460

The A7R is also on sale.

So the price in the cart is 1238.

Then what I want to do is trade in my 40D and it says it gives a 300 credit? For 300 more off?

You don't want to trade in your 40D. Get something cheap or broken off craigslist. I believe the $460 credit has already been applied to get to the $1238 price. You just have to send in a camera after, I guess

I believe the $300 is additional because your trading the 40d in.

Wowsers. Not even in the market and I'm tempted.

i was tempted as well, then I started adding lenses to the cart and reallity bit me.

I am debating between Sony A7R and Fuji X-T1. Maybe I should sell half of my Canon gears to buy both of the Sony and Fuji. Darn the deal is gone

This makes the camera and the Metabones adapter to bring Canon EF lenses over really interesting. I like how you can become more brand agnostic with lenses with the Sony.

That's not how it works. Not every camera qualifies for the $300 credit.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong of course. I asked BH to give me a quote for my Canon AE-1 camera and they valued it at $25.00.

If you like full frame, then there's only one choice. XT-1 has better AF speed but in terms of IQ, the A7 series beats the XT-1.

I'm a little confused. It says you have to fill out their form to get the rebate but when you add the camera to cart the rebate is added anyway?

It's $300 + the value of your camera.

It show the promo being $460.....without specifying a trade in.
