Yeah mate. I use a Nisi ND1000. Not very well known, but has absolutely no colour cast at all. No warm cast as per B+W and no cool cast as per the Big Stopper.

I use an X-Pro1 which has incredible dynamic range and amazing RAW files. I sold off all my grad filters as they became redundant, I don't even have to blend exposures anymore.

Absolutely stunning images here Ben. I often flirt with the idea of selling all my canon gear and buying a Fuji (I like the xt-1) for the size savings but was always put off thinking that landscapes couldnt be done as well as with a DSLR but these are proof they can. Add the new Fuji 10-24 lens into the mix and it may be a way I head in the future

Btw, the Fujinon 14mm blows completely destroys the 16-35L or 17-40L in sharpeness and distortion (there is basically 0 distortion and it is extremely hard to get fringing and CA with the 14mm).

A good prime is expected to win over a good zoom.

True!!!

What about an amazing exceptional prime vs a good zoom?

I use a Lee Wide Angle Bellows hood with the CPL attachment ring on front and 3 filter holders behind it.. It's nice being able to stack 4 filters for some extreme shots :)

Worked out really well, Rick.

Is that the same shot you (or at least the same location) for the Navajo Power station you had a while back?

Wish i had that LEE Big Stopper with LEE CPL before when i was in USA[NYC/LA] for vacation back in 2009, but it doesn't matter, i used B+W 77mm 10stops filter instead, and i hope if i can travel there again this year then i am almost ready with best tools i can use for landscapes and cityscape, one body and one or 2 more lenses and i will be alright.

Love the shots on your website; looks like you have enough gear to cover any situation. How do you decide what to shoot with?

Have not been in any situations that I could use the 10 stoppers lately. Still hoping to get some nice clouds
on a windy day, like I see in many posts in this thread! Great shots everyone!
