I have so many images to post process from 3 1/2 months of vacation and travels. One of the challenges in shooting large tourists's destinations is noon time harsh lighting. I had the same experience two years ago at the great wall of China, shooting at humid, hazy noon. At Angkor Wat, we started early , got our 3 day tickets and on the first day went to the back entrance to avoid the crowd, the place was so huge so the first images were under a nice morning sun and by the time we reached the front it was almost high noon, hot humid and haze. the next day came in at 530 to shoot the sunrise.

we started at the back at 830, ahead of the horde of tourists who starts from the front, nice lights here

lens flares are bad, as well as high DR when shooting interiors to outdoors, still early 9 am

sun still low, giving nice shadows

Front of Angkor Wat at around 12 noon, muggy, hazy and harsh lights with hordes of tourists

you already have cherry blossoms? wow! we're still having snow and below zero conditions here. Show us your bike. thanks for sharing Clifford

@Tony your Angkor images sure reminded me of my trip there. I only wished I had a GPS at the time so I'd know exactly where I've been so that I don't mixed the names of the temples.

Jun when we were there, the googleman was there also taking live pictures; so in a few months you can verify thru googlemap. Funny story, the guidebook of Angkor Wat, my son in law was first to buy at $15; I decided not to buy until we visited Ta Prohm hoping it will be cheaper, I paid $10, my wife shopped near the south entrance and got her exact book for $5.

lol wives are the best shopper. I'll be checking google from time to time. I've got most of them down pat but I was corrected one time for one of the temple

hard to believe isn't it? I shot a goose nesting 50+ feet off a tree once.
