I would just go with the eBay Get It Digital price - they're not B&H / Adorama, but most who I've seen post about them seemed ok with it.

I have shopped at BB and have had good luck. I usually don't even think the sales people have any knowledge since most are young kids but for computers many know much more than I do. I did buy my last 5D MK III there since they were the same price at the time as everybody else and I got either 2 or 3 years of free financing.

Wow! Best Buy has a "price matching scam" for not matching the internet price on a camera that the person who wants the price match does not trust! I bought my camera at Best Buy with a price match that saved me $300 over the local price. I have had no problems with matches of B&h, Adorama, or Amazon.

I tried to get Best Buy to price match B&H a couple weeks ago on a Canon G16. B&H had it for $449 but were including a case, memory card and LCD screen protector. Best Buy had it on the floor for $499 and it was $449 on their web site. They wouldn't price match it because they didn't carry the exact case and screen protectors. They did have the exact same memory card. I told them that being the case just match the deal with the camera and memory card for that price and I would but it from them. They declined.

To be fair, to price match it has to be the exact same deal. But you think they would price match if you are willing to do a lesser deal then B&H is offering.

Best Buy...............never!

More like Worst Buy.

That said, as another poster here, I purchased a Samsung 75" TV few months back. It was the same price as all other legitimate retailers and they had it in stock. The nearby PC Richards (another store I dislike) did not.

For camera equipment, they are not on my list, any list.

And as stated above, the website clearly shows it is sold by another company through them and so the manager was right.

All in all, don't be surprised to see Best Buy go the same way as Circuit City: OUT OF BUSINESS.

Never had a problem with them price matching before.

The problem they have with price matching is for no-name websites. They also have to adhere to Canon's and many other manufacture's pricing guidelines.

I use their credit card and get 5%-10% back. It's a great deal for me.

Sorry, I side with the Best Buy manager. Says right on the page it is sold by Sunset Electronics, which is not a major retailer, legitimate Best Buy competitor, or an authorized dealer:

Ok. But they match amazon.com and I don't think they go to this length..

I've never had a problem with their price matching policy either. Actually yesterday I went with just my recipt and told the guy the item I bought was $10 dollars cheaper at Wal-Mart. He said ok, and refunded me my $10. No questions asked. When I bought my 6D from their, they went and checked BHphotography and price matched it with no questions asked. I try not to go there because they are always more expensive but when I can't wait that is where I'll go.

no scam here. the fine print clearly states the rules which excludes your attempt.

it would be like me posting a new 100L for sale on amazon for $500 and then going into best buy to get them to price match it.

Not all the time. As long as it says Prime or ship and sold by Amazon, then they will match.

Walked in and wanted to buy a Sandisk 95mb/s SDHC memory card and the price was 164.99. They quickly price matched to amazon's price of 64.99.

Saved me $100.

I do buy alot at best buy but mainly stuff thats just been released and new that you can't find cheaper anywhere else. I buy my phones there too because it gets credit to my rewards which helps to have the longer return capability.
