Sorry If this is the wrong place to post. I just realized that the Flickr Beta has gone live - the opt-out button is now gone and there is a new layout to individual photo pages.

This is driving me mad - on top of the horrible new design, the sharing functionality has gone to hell - there are sharing buttons for Facebook, Twitter and the like, but no longer any function for sharing via a BB public forum like this one. :(

Am I not seeing the "beauty" of it? Or is this yet another horrible "redesign" from Flickr?

ok... here's what worked for me just now. I used the pin at the bottom, chose 1024x683 size, cut and pasted it here... the photo showed up as above.

Howdy Kim! Seems to work for me to...In fact, there is no more need to delete extra HTML gibberish or code or whatever it is to have just the image display (as opposed to the link info below the actual image) if that makes sense.

Edit- I think the flickr-->POTN sharing is EASY!! I like it. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. But then again, all I use flickr for is to upload photos to a site that my friends and family can look at whenever and to share here on POTN.

I really hate it, I am still using a 4:3 ratio screen and I lose 25% of my screen real estate to the stupid block down the LHS. I usually post 1024 and on my 1280×1024 screen the old one was great. Landscape images sat nicely in the middle and scroll down for details, which were easy to read as black on white.

Click on the pin. It should come up under there. Then select the appropriate size.

Perhaps Googl+ may be better than the new FlickR?

I probably didn't/don't know what I'm talking about. But when I grabbed the BB code to share from flickr to POTN, I had to delete out about half of the code in order to have only the image show and not the flickr info containing the name of the file, etc underneath it.

Gee, I never knew you could delete the file name etc? Thank you.
Oh, the pin Scatterbrain talks about is found after clicking on the "share" symbol, and it DOES work.
Thank you

I would do the same thing and delete everything but the parts from
