Went for a hike with my wife and son on the Wildwood Trail in Forest Park (external link) today.... IMO, the best urban wilderness in America..

I love the temperate rainforest of the PNW! :thumup:

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

You've captured this well. We are certainly blessed to be living in such a beautiful area. Wet, but beautiful. And recently colder than I would like it to be.

I think Forest Park is probably one of the best kept secrets of Portland.

BTW, I wasn't expecting a reply to this old thread. :) I know I added the photos to my gallery - did that trigger something with the thread, bumped it up or whatever? Just curious...
