I'm test driving an NEX 6 this weekend. Just trying out the menu system etc. if I like it I may get an A7r/24-70. I'm terrible at spending my money on me, I need to be practically frogmarched into a shop to spend on myself :0
The thing is too, I can get them ridiculously cheap :p

The NEX-6 menu system is awful. It's nothing like the A7/R. The menus were overhauled with A7/R and the just released A6000.

Thanks, that's useful to know. I tried searching the forum for details comparing them but came up short. All I remember is the NEX 6 being fairly well received at its release. I've got no instruction booklet on it, but am managing to get around the settings, I went for a sunset tonight but missed it when it clouded over. I may try tomorrow weather depending.
