Great shot. Perfect example of what this lens can do. I tend to use it at 3.2 myself, as it is a bit sharper there.

paid $1500.00 for mine last year and have not regretted it one bit. This is a fine lens for the money.

Joel, sorry that you're being bombarded with questions but you seem to have this Tamron lens nailed so I've got a quick question for you. You say you've shot this lens in low light? Any examples? I'm really debating between this lens and a Canon 70-200L- I think I got spoiled when I rented a 70-200L last weekend- but I was shooting an indoor cheer competition so the lighting was low and the action was pretty fast. I'm wondering if this lens can keep up with that.

This lens is truly amazing. Low light, any light my copy is sharp and nails focus every time.

Rented this lens last week and I concur that IQ and focusing seems to be very good.

Bought this lens and my 135 f2 is getting less and less use.

I got the 135 AFTER and find myself using it more than the 70-200. This is what started my recent glass purchasing where I've now ended up with the 120-300 to replace my 70-200. I haven't sold my Tamron yet though.

I find the 135 to be EQUAL in sharpness at F2 as the Tamron is a but with better bokeh and better colors. To me the colors are amazing on the Canon.

The 135 at 2.8 is sharper than the Tamron at 2.8 also
