It's been a long hiatus from flickr and all forums for me...and slowly getting around to updating things! Hope everyone's ok! :)

Here's one with this body...which I must admit, I don't use that much anymore. Still, it's an awesome camera!

Hey guys, I just picked up a 5D Classic and am looking for a wide angle lens.

However my budget is a measly $250.

I have found a Sigma 15-30 for a good price, and I have read about the Tokina 19-35 being pretty good for the price.

Are there any other suggestions?

I could possible swing $300.

Canon 5D Classic : Canon 28-70 F3.5-4.5, Yashica 28mm F2.8, Sigma 15-30 F3.5-4.5 EX DG, Canon 50mm F1.4
HP Zbook 15 : Intel i7-4600m, 8GB Ram, 750GB HD, K2100m/IntelHd 4600m, 1920x1080 Screen
Iphone 5

There's no such thing as Photoshop raw. Did you mean Adobe Camera Raw maybe? And if so, what "white slider" are you talking about?

Depends on what you're looking for. I have heard the Tokina 19-35 is okay, but definitely not great.

If you want ultra-wide, the Rokinon/Samyang 14mm 2.8 has extremely good IQ & sharpness, but comes at the expense of being all manual (which isn't much of an issue at 14mm). Going for $309 right now on Amazon, and occassionally slips below $300.

Thanks for the ideas guys, however I think that I would prefer a zoom at the moment.

How is the Sigma 15-30 on the 5D?

I second the Rokinon 14mm. Great lens and you can find a copy just within your budget. If you are OK with all-manual lenses, that is ;)
I took this pic with a Rokinon 14mm on 5Dc.
