I processed a shot of a Great Tit that I took in February.

I went back and realized one of my favorite pictures was taken with my XTi and 100mm Macro. I'm pretty sure I never processed it other then camera settings and converting to jpeg. Last night I tweeked it a little in LR.
What do you think? Does the grasshopper need to be a little darker?

The first one.

very nice Levina.

I had my Mum over for lunch today, it's Mother's Day in the UK. She brought her two little dogs whom I"ve never photographed - they are a little bit nervous, but we thought we'd give it a go. Within 5 minutes I had some really nice shots. I"m going to frame these two together, for Mum's birthday in May.

Yes Joayne, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to give them their full and complete name! So we had 7 dogs at mine today, you'd never have known, they were all so companionable.

Interesting, the majority like the first edit. I went back and put another edit in that post? Thanks for the feedback on them, everyone.

Beautiful owl shot, Joayne and great tit shot, Levina. :D

Penel, what great pictures, your mom is going to cherish that! Happy Birthday to your mom, I'm a May baby as well. :D

I am a May baby too. When is yours, Stina?

I had a much needed day of rest, reading & relaxing yesterday; I laid around until 3:00, then jumped out of bed, showered, walked my dogs, ran to the grocery store & made dinner. 4 hours of production & back to my book :) Today I am putzing around the house chores but no kids until Thursday!!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Absolutely love this Levina. We have them on the tree in my front garden, but I've never caught one on camera yet.

Your day sounds lovely Maureen, I like days like that.

Great little bird shot, Levina!

...and Mo, if you can't do little birds,
what are all those hummingbird photos? ;)

Thanks, Maureen. Nothing as difficult as shooting tiny birds in the wild, but also a lot of fun. And I find it very gratifying if I do manage a half decent shot of one. :)

EDIT: Oh, I overlooked that there was another page already!!!  Thanks, Penel and Joayne!

Shucks, those hummers in my mom's yard are practically tame. I can walk right up to them;)
