An advance reservation is required for all service and support requests handled by the Ridgefield Park, N.J. facility. Canon Professional Services (CPS) Platinum and Gold level members can make a reservation via the CPS hotline by calling 1 (888) CPS-4540. Owners of Cinema EOS, professional video cameras and broadcast lenses should call 1 (855) CINE EOS to schedule an appointment. 40D Gripped, 50D, T2I Gripped, 5D Mark III Gripped, EF-S 18-55 IS, EF-S 55-250 IS

Additional camera and lens service facilities for both professional and consumer clients are located in Jamesburg, N.J., Irvine, C.A., and Newport News, V.A. Each of these facilities operates with the same Canon speed and quality that is unrivaled in the industry. By the end of the year, Canon plans to further expand its local service center presence to the Midwest with the opening of a new service and support facility to support imaging professionals in the Chicago market. Give them a call, ridgefield may accept your repair depending on their repair load if not you have to go to their jamesburg facility Thanks 6D| 35mm f/2 IS

I don't know about "walking", but the Jamesburg facility does accept "walk in" customers. I have been a walk-in twice at the Jamesburg location, and received excellent service (but bear in mind I was a CPS member). "Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.

It's a tremendous building. I've done it a couple times. I've even seen them fix a guys lens on the spot. _______________

You can drop it off in Jamesburg and they will contact you when its finished. You can pick it up or they can ship it back to you. I've been there a few times. The other locations in NY and NJ are for CPS members only. If there get there early enough they might even do it for you same day but you'll have to figure out where to hang out for perhaps a few hours. You can always do lunch and go shipping I suppose. While your there you may want them to clean your sensor at the same time. I think its around $30. I see you live in Brooklyn. It's around 41 miles from the Verrazano. During non rush hours the trip should be pretty fast. Mark
