If I click on the 6D Kit price check page i see there should be a deal for 2099 for 6D + 24-105L + Pixma Pro 100 printer. but when i goto the links i can't find the price that reflects that. Is this a bogus add or am I being stupid?

Looks like B&H took this promotion away when MAP came.

Note when you click the link to B&H you get the following warning on B&H's site:

"The page you requested is no longer available.
We have redirected you to a similar page for your convenience."

Then it redirects you to the normal 6D + 24-105mm page.

My co-worker has been giving me grief because i have had the 6D + 24-105L page up refreshing everytime he walks into my cube.

I got pretty excited when I saw this page and the $2099 price w/ printer but was quickly disapointed after

Is Canonpricewatch a legitimate dealer? If you wish to search the smoke and mirrors sites, well.

The referenced deal sends me to BHPhoto.com. If you look at the deals that you find in Market Watch you will find the same deals there. It is basically a FatWallet, Slickdeals, Techbargains (and more) type of site that monitors multiple online retailer prices on Canon photo gear.

This post explains it on the bottom:

Skip,

You mean you never used CanonPrice Watch?????

I thought everyone on the forum used the site to check prices on Canon products, and they provide links to those prices (usually at B&H, AMAZON, ADORAMA and many other authorized dealers). Also provides historical data on past prices for several years, and even lets you create an alert at a specific price on an item you are interested in purchasing. Also includes accessories, and memory cards too.

And, they do the same at their other site, Nikonpricewatch.

Also, they are a member of the forum and contributor....

The current page on cpw shows the deal expiring on 4/6, don't know if they changed it. It was an active deal forever and am you missed it.

It's a very handy reference guide; and it's probably the smartest affiliate site I've come across.

LoL! Im glad I wasn't the only one using it. I felt for a second there I was checking out a scam site of some sort! I only order from Amazon, BH, Adorama and Abes.

Kinda off topic but how are the eBay deals that BH and Adorama have on there? Is warranty still valid with those?

As I noted above, they are simply one of our affiliates - we have a lot....and you know all those 'coupon code' sites? They are affiliates, too. The terms and conditions of sale are exactly the same as if you purchase from Adorama directly. But when you order from Adorama by clicking through from another site, the site owner earns a percentage.
