For the Body, looks like it would move for $950, might be able to hang on for $1050?

You might consider selling the RRS plate separately, as it fits the 1D4 as well. I think the value of the plate gets lost when bundled with the body.

Thanks! I threw in the plate to help the sale. Its a great camera, I'm going regret selling it. :(

I don't think you will have a hard time selling it, (if that's really what you want to do) for that price. Where I live there used to always be a few 1D III's for sale on Craigslist, KEH etc... For the last 3 months I have not seen any. Quite a few Mark II N's but no III or IV.

Wow, you guys get a lot more for your gear in the U.S. 1D3's sell for $600-$750 here in good/great condition. Has tempted me a few times to pick up a 2nd! I'm resisting though :D

I think I may upgrade from a 1D IIn to a 1D3 any thoughts on this move? I shoot college sports in my spare time as a hobby trying to get hired for the University or paper so money is tight, I could sell my 1d2n towards the cost of a 1D3

What changes are you looking for in a body? (like what's currently holding you back?)
