Over here we are only allowed to carry flashguns.

I had to return to that photo - hadn't even spotted the guns the first time.

Looking at the duration times listed in the specs there is a jump back to a shorter duration at about 1/8th power. That implies that there are two capacitors and that at lower power settings only one is used. That will complicate using these lights for HyperSync applications.

since its not a build in feature I can't say if does HSS and I cant test it because I don't have the triggers to do so.

Here's is an image from the 360 vs the 600EX-RT shoot out. The canon 600 had to be at 3 feet from the subject and I was a little over 6 feet in this shot. 360 got full body coverage and the canon 600 only got 3/4. The 360 was a little over 2sec recycle time and the 600 AA batteries and recycle time couldn't keep up. We shot from 9am till around 8pm and I still had plenty of battery left. I'm not sure how many batteries canon 600 went throw, but it was a lot.

Meh my powerpack PB960 is already falling apart...
I used it about three times now but two of the four srews already broke from the bottom part (battery part) of the PB960. It really has a bad build quality. The plastic holding the screws is really thin and fragile.

Really thats odd I've had one since oct 2013 and have not had any problems. Had one fall over on a stand even at 8 feet in the air and it just scuffed up a few edges.

I Got 5 of those and never had any problems, I even travel a lot with those.

Adorama has their Flashpoint Glow 47" Grand softbox deeply discounted at the moment.

Regarding the Glow 47... How easy is it to set up in the field? I assume it is not as quick as the SMDV 70 Diffuser? Do 16 rods need to be individually inserted into the speedring?

Edit: The reason I ask is because Adorama describes it as an umbrella softbox but it looks like a regular speedring. When I think of umbrella softbox, I think of Apollo Orb or SMDV types, not something one needs to insert rods into.

I just ordered the "Cheetah Light CL-360P Combo" looking forward to using it......
