Hi all,

I recently spend a few days camping on North Stradbroke Island near Brisbane, and we did a bit of 4WD-ing in the beach. I had my 50D and 70-200mm telephoto on hand in the hope that we would spot some birds, and I wasn't disappointed! We first spotted an Osprey sitting nicely on a branch, and then we were lucky enough to have a White-breasted Sea Eagle fly over close enough to fill the frame @ 200mm! Here's the best shots. More on Flickr if you're interested.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

That sea eagle is gorgeous; I've never even heard of one. Well done.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I don't do much bird photography, so it was nice to be able to capture these.

Cheers,
Stephen
