Thank you again. I'm planning on trying my luck again soon and perhaps catch one with a fish in the beak.
I had shot like that a couple months ago but it was from far away. This time I know where to hide ;)

These are really beautiful shots and a lovely model. I've never noticed before, but its interesting that the Kingfisher has some similarities to Hummingbirds in the neck, stocky body and feet. Not that it means anything, but I always find it interesting the similarities between seeming unrelated species...beyond just that it has wings and a beak. :)
