I could use some tips on that Lb

Tips on what - the MA? I could, but it would be much better if you watch a 15 min video on YouTube. Just do a quick search for DotTune. If you still have questions, I will be happy to help.

I've just switched from a 60D to 70D. Have had the new one less than a week and only used it for a few days. To me though, yes, significant difference and worth it.

The "significant difference" though, to me, certainly is not IQ. I wasn't expecting any noticeable improvement in IQ. If there is one, great, but it's not going to be significant and wasn't part of my decision process.

I switched for the useability, better AF, touchscreen, dual pixel LV focus (after a few days using it, I now consider that worth upgrading for all by itself, to me...).

I didn't switch for IQ though and if that is your biggest concern and most important factor, I'd say stick with your 60D. As I doubt you'll often be able to note any difference in IQ at all and almost certainly not a significant one.

Thanks for your candid input. Thats the kind of realistic insight I need (not minimizing the others, but this is where the rubber meets the road). Ive read all of the responeses, and watched more videos. Ive decided I am going to move on to the 70D. All of the features I wished the 60D had the 70D now has. Bells and whistles are fine an good, but actual usable features are super nice. No point in listing any as most here already know...well,on second thought,I WILL mention a few super nice features - excellent AF in LV and video, touch screen, micro adjustment, better ISO performance, better focus and tracking. Thats more than a few,but thats ok.

I wont jump too fast. If Im patient I know the price will drop. My deal has to be one with a grip. After I put the grip on my 60D it completely changed how it felt in my hands - became a very manly, solid piece of equipment that fit my hand,no dangling fingers.

Thanks everyone else who had input. As a whole was very helpful. Gotta run, gotta keep my eyes open - somewhere there is a gripped 70D with MY name on it :p

I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not too sure.

I pushing my 70D to it´s limit, ISO 6400, total darkness, only three small point lights in basement. Had to pull shadows up a lot. Absolutely amazed by High ISO performance and ability to focus in such bad light conditions!

Thnx, Richard! I know you don't mean it literally, but I just ordered a grip and three extra batteries for the camera! I'm getting more and more used to use it..so I'm still very happy!

I like macro photography a lot..there is so much wonderful to find around us. Most bugs en fly's I photograph in my own garden. You don't believe how many there can be found. My wife doesn't like my photo's because she is scared about the enormous size I enlarge those insects..:roll eyes:
Right now I'm experimenting with flash when shooting macro..still have to learn a lot or use the correct equipment for it. ;)

So these are still in my comfort zone..

This weekend I hope to have some time to try and shoot BIF's...that is something that is not yet in my comfort zone..:p

@Palad1n: considering it is done with a tele lens it's a very nice macro with a lot of detail..to bad it doesn't have the focus on the eyes. Nice black background..maybe you could burn the left side of the photo a little because om my screen it looks less black there.

Shot some birds today with the Sigma 1.4 TC attached to my 'new to me' Sigma 120-300 f/2.8 lens. I'm pretty pleased with the results on my 70D.

Is there a hidden setting somewhere buried in the menus such that the ISO set for M and the ISO set for Av is independent?
