It takes a lot of negative comments to get that percentage down to 99.1% with 40K feedbacks.

Actually it does not because the majority of bargain hunters will always find something to complain about. Shipping delays beyond the merchants control, buyer regrets, factory defects, those who buy without researching beforehand and on and on. In fact people sometimes have the nerve to even complain about the price or quality of goods actually being sold below cost.

My buddy ordered one Wednesday night and it shipped the very next day via UPS Ground. Arrives Monday. So far so good!

FYI on this retailer...

Buddy received his... Packaged carefully, brand new USA 5D III with 0 on the shutter and everything sealed up. No issues at all!

So just for future reference... Seller shipped the very next day and was legit, USA model.

Maybe it's a Canadian import?

You're the second person to mention the French manual -- yes, it appears to be a Canadian import.

Thankfully Canadian imports are identical to USA for warranty purposes as Canon's warranty is North American.

But I wish Focus Camera had mentioned this in the auction listing. Especially as they are an authorized dealer...
