GREAT shots!! It would be helpful if you would post the camera settings along with what filters were used when the photo's were taken.
Thank you and keep up the great work.

Many of the images (mine certainly) will have the EXIF data intact for the camera and lens settings. That won't tell you anything about filters, though.

Gripped 7D, gripped, full-spectrum modfied T1i (500D), SX50HS, A2E film body, Tamzooka (150-600), Tamron 90mm/2.8 VC (ver 2), Tamron 18-270 VC, Canon FD 100 f/4.0 macro, Canon 24-105 f/4L,Canon EF 200 f/2.8LII, Canon 85 f/1.8, Tamron Adaptall 2 90mmf/2.5 Macro, Tokina 11-16, Canon EX-430 flash, Vivitar DF-383 flash, Astro-Tech AT6RC and Celestron NexStar 102 GT telescopes, various other semi-crappy manual lenses and stuff.

All of my shots doesn't have any filters on it. Continuous, focus tracking, auto iso,smallest focus point setting, aperture priority and good natural lighting. I usually park close to the bird and shoot inside the car. Most shots are drive by. Thats the beauty of SX50,,, portable, not so expensive and EDC gadget for photographers.

@2n10
Do you think there is a difference if we were shooting with the Tamron 150-600? I don't know if it's just me or just being in denial. If I were to mix my pics with those taken with Tammie would we be able to say which was shot with what camera?

I think it depends on the subject.. I follow the tammy threads as well and ask myself the same question. For BIF, fast moving subjects and low light definitely the Tammy IMO...

EDIT.. Sorry, I just saw the comment was directed to @2n10... Curios to see his opinion as well... :)

BIF and moving objects looks like the Tammie has the edge, but for stationary subjects on good to moderate natural light I feel the SX50 has the edge. Well maybe it's the GAS messing up with my mind.

I was only about eight feet from her directly below the rack. She was
exiting her gourd,she saw me and stopped and posed for a portrait.

BTW,she's an adult female Purple Martin.
