It seems the slideshows (both horrible moving version and regular version) and map view functions are gone. I can't find them anywhere.

I've no problem with changing how to get the links etc Things like that always change.

I just think it looks S**T now with the comments etc down the side..... I preferred it visually with the description, comments etc underneath & the option of lightbox to view on black at a bigger size at the click of a button....

I'll guess we'll have to get used to it or go somewhere else.....

I'm already moving to ipernity. The new Flickr does look like feces. Interestingly, Opera continues to display the old version (post-last year changes, of course), but I bet their coders will catch on. On my Mac, neither Flawedfox nor Safari display Flickr pages anymore: they complain about a redirection issue related to cookies. I have cookies for Flickr enabled, go figure. Too much faex tauri, I'm out of there.

One reason I stick to Flickr is the seamless integration with Lightroom. My version of LR only has plugins for Flickr and Smugmug...(

Looks like nearly all the photo sharing sites have plugins for LR. I have Lightroom 5.3 and have plugins for Flickr, SlickPic, and a few others. All you have to do is install the plugins for them.

The slideshow is available at the your Photostream page in the upper right hand corner under your joining date. Look for a "play" icon inside a rectangle.

Apparently they are now doing away with Facebook and Google login.

Thanks. Unfortunately it's the horrible moving zooming version which is unusable. I bet no one will use it too since it's so hard to find.

Nearly: key word. There is a LR plugin for ipernity, but it only works with versions 4.3 and up. I'm running version 3.3, and no, I am not going to upgrade.

Yes they are. I thought I could stick with flickr but I can't make a Yahoo! account. When trying to make yahoo id, it says that this yahoo ID is already in use. I even used some random and absurd word combinations in estonian. It's not a common language at all! I even tried random letters and number combinations in username and nothing. I guess I'll have to give up flickr.
