Mine, you are very fortunate living close to two National parks, I know who I am looking up if I head your way for a shooting buddy...;)

Great wildlife captures..

Time for some full frame fun again. ;)

Several asked how did he pull this off, but he did not respond. I know some have made the Canon 10-22 usuable on FF, so I guess its along the same lines they modified there 10-22

2 Parks? do you mean Glacier, and Waterton? because those are the same park. and if you meant Yellowstone I am over 400 miles from there and have actually never been there.

Yah the moose was shot at like 109mm (165 or so 35mm equivalent), so he was right on top of us. and the bear was right off the side of the road so all I had to do was open my door and stand up (keeping the car between them and me lol), and was a much less frightening experience.

Thanks, I was pleased with them. You can tell why the 7D is a favourite with action photogs as those 8fps really come in handy.

These were my first action shots, and after a lot of research decided to go for TV priority at 1,000 sec which seems to stop the action perfectly. I went for the widest apertures possible on the 50-250 - typically f5.6 at that range, and settled for auto ISO (which I never use normally), which nailed the exposure almost everytime.

There's some tutorial on tube i guess.. you have only to shave it, removing the rubber ring that prevens the insertion on FF.
Man, i would live in fear that the mirror is hitting, but i've already seen on 10-22 POTN group nice shots on the 6D!!

A dark day, and the lens is a little slow, but I still like it.
