If a shot like that doesn't convince someone thinking of picking this lens up, I don't know what would. Crazy seperation - great as always Daniel!

Exactly! It was shots like Daniel's that sold me on this awesome lens. And it's those wide shot (the Brenizer look-a-likes) that REALLY sold me. I've taken a stab at them...not sure they stack up to Daniel's shots. ;) It's A LOT easier doing it with 1 shot vice 12 or more.

Jeez Daniel, do you get any commission from Canon for all the lenses you've sold lol! Seriously, you sold me on the 35mm and now I want the 135!

The only thing that concerns me of this lens is the working distances, how far away were you to take this shot?

I'm worried if I rent this lens I won't give it back lol.

I totally bypassed the renting and just went straight to purchase. I'm glad I did because renting would have just been a horrible tease.

Lol, I like renting, it's really helped my purchasing decisions. I nearly brought a 50L and instead I brought the 35L. I last rented the 85L and now I'll see if I like the 135L more.

If you buy used, try it and decide. If you dont like it you can sell it for the same price you paid and your only cost is shipping/insurance, thats a much cheaper "rental" than paying $40 for a weekend. If you like it, keep it. Either way your evaluation period is long enough to get comfortable with the lens.

Let's be honest guys...does anyone "try" this lens, decide they don't like it, and resell it immediately? Yes they do. Then they're back on this thread a few months later and start shopping around for another one.

I don't think I will ever sell this lens, but then again I sold the 35L for the Sigma 35, I am very curious to see if Sigma will launch that rumored 135 f/1.8

If you sell this lens, this thread should be locked.
