Just got back from a ride through the Eastern US, carried my 6D and 1D and used both frequently. The photos of the muddy bikes were in the rain and 800 ISO, I was really impressed.

How have you liked the 6D? I am looking at getting one mainly for filming; but also for an affordable FF body. Been going back and forth between the 5D2 and the 6D... but leaning seriously towards the 6D. Sony A7r2|24-70 f/4 FE|85 1.8 FE|28 f/2 FE|Venus Laowa 15mm f/2|Habakkuk 2:2

AF is an issue at times for sports, but the low light performance alone is worth buying it for. Other than AF for fast moving objects, I have no complaints. I'm a very happy camper. I love everything about it (including aesthetics, its low mass for FF, the wi-fi, GPS etc). I found the AF more than capable for motorsport, but I have not used it (or tested it) for any other action. The only cameras I would think of getting rid of it for would be maybe an A7R or of course the 5D III. Even then I would prefer something like the 1D IV and the 6D over a 5D III (same price combo's going by what I paid for the 6D, what the 1D IV goes for here on ebay and what the 5D III costs new). Apr 24, 2014 23:01 | #8520 I know there are a lot of recent/relatively recent 1d3 owners like myself and if you search enough in POTN, you will run into FlexNR. You also might run into a lot of "Is PIXMantra still here? Is it still available?" I can confirm, he is still alive and that 2.3 is the most recent version. Got it a few days ago and finally figured out how to use it in LR/PS CC and it works like a charm. Definitely have more to learn, but the camera -> LR -> PS -> final image workflow is pretty straightforward, though setting it up was time consuming for me, a very adobe newb. 6dII/1dIII|Bronica Sq-Ai/EOS 3/A1
