Manic Street Preachers, first shoot of April, I messed up with two concerts at the beginning of this month. Never heard from two that I had previously applied...though I've got another tomorrow, should be a fun month

Been given a ping pong from a band who I shot and reviewed last year who advised me to contact the promoter, who advised me to contact the band etc. So instead I'm shooting a 6 band gig at a small venue instead and doing an interview and photo shoot for one of them who supported a bigger act I covered a few months ago. Some of my "free" gig shoots from last year are now getting me access to larger gigs too so it's all gravy :)

Friday 18th, 6 acts, small venue which will be tight, but some great out of town headliners, and the act I'm shooting for mainly, while just new and up and coming, is the kind of music I like so my ethos of only covering bands/acts I like is maintained.

You weren't kidding! I've never been happier to get OUT of a photopit. Holy crap... What a stench!

I didn't take many photos of the sets, the lighting to say the least was not good

An interesting Metal band who all wear masks apart from the female singer, called Splintered Halo, Saturday Night. New venue for me to shoot at too so no idea what the lighting will be like.

Tonight: Big Bang Boom cabaret, a burlesque show based in Orlando. It's the fourth monthly show of the year.

I'm in love with this venue, especially compared to the one they performed in last year.
