Has anyone upgraded to a 4k monitor for Photoshop still work only?
How beneficial is it, can your video card handle the change, any opinions at all appreciated...

I would think that color accuracy would be more important than resolution, and right now I've not seen any 4k monitors aimed at imaging professionals. I could be wrong, but it's what I've seen. Beyond that, Mclaren has a point in that it would be a bit awkward on a small screen. I edit on a 24" monitor, if it was 4k everything would be tiny. VanillaImaging.com

I've just started looking into 4K monitors and the Asus PB287Q seems to get good initial reviews and will be priced at $799.00, any thoughts on this? From the east side of the mitten!

Your question should be this...At print quality being 300 DPI (Thats what I have always heard) does your need for resolution require a 4K monitor. In all honesty, Can you see the difference in 4K and 2K???? Not many can. I agree with the above comments. Color accuracy is MUCH more important. Save the money and buy some L series lenses... If you have a full bag of L series, consider this a consultation and buy some more and send them to me.... First step........ Take the lens cap off.

Aah...I was under the impression that 4K meant 3840 x 2160 pixels. The things you do for yourself die with you, the things you do for others live forever.
