Not so sharp if you ask me...

Looks like whomever took those photographs didn't get the face in focus on those.. because the 1.4 shots are sharp but focused in places other than her face

hope that sharpness was intentionally cranked all the way down on those sample images. My current sigma 50mm is crisp by f2

The DOF is so thin, that if the eyelashes are in focus, the tip of the nose is OOF.

Look at the second photo the model leaning on the tree. You can see the strip of skin which is in focus on her forehead, just to the right of her nose.

it's probably cranked down or turned to 0 on lightroom or whatever software used.

samples are kinda underwhelming, but images fairly clean, at least CA isnt showing up.

Lenstip always turns sharpening completely off. Look at their Otus review, you'll see even those images look somewhat soft.

For portraits, I ALWAYS focus on the eyes, apparently they don't! lol

Per my phone call with a BH rep, B & H will have 30 lens on their first batch of orders arriving on the 30th. 450 lens on their 2nd batch with no date determined. Seems like demand will overwhelm the supply like the Tamy 150-600.

Were they willing to tell you where you sit in the queue?
